BI Report Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced BI Report Developer to join our growing team at SoftwareMind. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards that drive data-driven decision-making across our organization. You will work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, transform complex data into actionable insights, and ensure optimal performance of BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop business intelligence reports and interactive dashboards using industry-leading BI tools
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into data warehouses and analytical databases
• Optimize report performance and query efficiency to ensure fast load times and responsiveness
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, data models, and reporting architecture
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, report functionality, and system performance
• Implement data validation and quality assurance procedures to ensure report integrity
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging BI technologies and trends
• Support end-users with training and guidance on report usage and self-service analytics

Required Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a BI Developer or in a similar data analytics role
• Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
• Solid understanding of SQL and database fundamentals
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehouse concepts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities and capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality
