Junior Software Engineer (GDT)

About the Role

SoftwareMind is seeking a talented Junior Software Engineer to join their Global Delivery Team (GDT). As a Junior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software solutions while learning best practices from experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and senior engineers
• Debug and troubleshoot software defects, implementing efficient solutions
• Document code and technical specifications for team reference
• Attend daily standups and team meetings to ensure alignment and communication
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• Assist in testing and quality assurance processes before production deployment

What We're Looking For

You should have a strong foundation in software development fundamentals and demonstrate eagerness to learn. While experience levels vary, we value candidates with:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or similar)
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts
