About the Role

Software Mind is seeking a talented Mobile App Developer to join our growing engineering team in a fully remote position. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled developer passionate about building high-quality mobile applications that serve users worldwide. You will work on challenging projects using modern development frameworks and collaborate with a distributed team of experienced software engineers.

As a Mobile App Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications across iOS and/or Android platforms. You'll participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms using modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mobile applications for performance and usability
  • Implement new features and improvements based on user feedback and business requirements
  • Stay current with mobile development trends, tools, and best practices
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Work in agile development environments, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms
  • Strong proficiency in at least one mobile development language (Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C)
  • Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of backend services
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React Native or Flutter for cross-platform development
  • Knowledge of mobile security best practices and data protection
  • Experience with mobile testing frameworks and automated testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Contribution to open-source mobile projects
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) mobile services
  • Understanding of app store submission and release processes
