Product Data Scientist - 6-Month Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large-scale product datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
• Build predictive and diagnostic models to support product roadmap decisions
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
• Conduct A/B testing and experimental design to validate product hypotheses
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business teams to define key metrics and success criteria
• Monitor product health metrics and KPIs, providing regular insights and recommendations
• Document methodologies and findings to support reproducibility and knowledge sharing
• Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and defend analytical conclusions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data science, product analytics, or related quantitative role
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar data manipulation languages
• Experience with statistical analysis, A/B testing, and experimental design
• Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
• Experience in product-focused analytics or understanding of product metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
• Background in SaaS or technology product environments
• Knowledge of data pipeline and ETL processes
• Experience mentoring junior analysts or data scientists
