About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to join our team at Software Mind. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will play a critical role in establishing best practices for infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and platform reliability across our organization.

As a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer, you will:

• Design and implement robust AWS infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software delivery
• Architect and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Establish monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks to ensure system reliability
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize performance
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards across cloud environments
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to improve platform capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps and cloud engineering experience
• Advanced expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudFormation)
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent)
• Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, CloudWatch)

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Familiarity with serverless frameworks
• Understanding of networking and security best practices
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
