The Opportunity

We are seeking a Tech Lead for LLM & Generative AI to lead our LLM team (currently 3 engineers) and own the architecture, training, and deployment of the models powering our core product. This is not a wrapper around existing models—we are building massive-scale conversational intelligence from the ground up.

EverAI currently processes 80 million tokens per day and growing. As Tech Lead, you will:

• Design and architect our LLM infrastructure for scale and personalization
• Lead model training, fine-tuning, and optimization for conversational excellence
• Oversee deployment pipelines and inference optimization at massive scale
• Mentor and manage a growing team of ML engineers
• Collaborate with product and safety teams to ensure ethical AI deployment
• Drive innovation in personalized AI companionship technology

What We're Looking For

You bring deep expertise in large language models, generative AI, and production ML systems. Ideal candidates have:

• 5+ years of experience with LLMs, transformers, or generative AI in production
• Strong background in model training, fine-tuning, and deployment at scale
• Proven leadership experience managing ML/AI teams
• Deep understanding of inference optimization, latency, and cost efficiency
• Experience with prompt engineering, RLHF, or model alignment
• Familiarity with conversational AI systems and dialogue management
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design skills
