Associate Product Usage Analyst

About This Role

Turnitin LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Associate Product Usage Analyst to join our growing team on a fully remote basis. This position is ideal for professionals based in the Philippines or other remote-friendly locations who are passionate about data analysis, product insights, and driving meaningful business outcomes through analytical excellence.

As an Associate Product Usage Analyst, you will play a critical role in understanding how customers interact with our products, identifying usage patterns, and translating complex data into actionable insights that inform product strategy and business decisions. You'll work at the intersection of product management, data science, and customer success to help optimize the user experience and maximize product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product usage data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact user engagement and retention
• Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that visualize product metrics and KPIs for stakeholders across the organization
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to understand business questions and develop analytical solutions
• Track and monitor key product metrics including user adoption, feature utilization, churn rates, and customer health indicators
• Conduct user segmentation analysis to identify high-value customers and at-risk accounts requiring intervention
• Support A/B testing and experimentation efforts by designing analyses and interpreting results
• Prepare executive summaries and insights presentations for leadership teams
• Maintain data quality standards and documentation of analytical methodologies
• Identify opportunities to automate routine reporting and analysis processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or product analytics roles
• Proficiency with SQL for querying and manipulating datasets
• Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formula creation
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical audiences
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SaaS or EdTech products
• Familiarity with Python or R for statistical analysis
• Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar web analytics platforms
• Experience with data warehousing solutions or cloud-based analytics platforms
• Exposure to product management methodologies or agile frameworks
• Experience in the education technology or academic integrity space
