The Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our day-to-day accounting function and partner closely with Operations/Supply Chain and Revenue Operations teams. This role will initially report to the SVP of Operations and transition to the CFO once that position is filled.

This is a hands-on position well suited to someone highly responsive, operating with urgency, and thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will work independently, build and continuously improve processes, and balance strong accounting fundamentals with the practical realities of a growing physical product company.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the end-to-end accounting function, including general ledger management and account reconciliations
• Lead monthly close and financial reporting processes
• Strengthen internal controls and build scalable accounting processes to support company growth
• Partner with Operations/Supply Chain on inventory accounting, COGS, landed costs, manufacturing costs, and cost variances
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations on accounts receivable, customer billing, collections, revenue recognition, and order-to-cash processes
• Work closely with the company's third-party accounting firm for accounting operations, technical accounting, financial reporting, tax, and audit support
• Maintain accurate financial records with high attention to detail

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in accounting management or senior accounting roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting
• Experience with inventory accounting and hardware/manufacturing cost management preferred
• Ability to work independently and operate with urgency in fast-paced environments
• Excellent process improvement and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Location & Work Arrangement

This role is hybrid, based out of our NYC office in Chelsea.
