Job Description

Probably the least boring job you’ll ever have.

At air up, we don’t just make bottles. We unbore water with flavor by scent. It makes no sense until you try it, and once you do, there’s no going back. Behind it all are teams pushing boundaries every day. Product bends taste and design in new directions. Marketing turns ideas into moments people talk about. Operations makes sure those moments reach hands everywhere.
Working here feels like stepping on stage: professionalism meets passion, curiosity meets courage. You’ll experiment, fail fast, learn faster, and actually see your ideas come to life. It's refreshingly low politics and low ego. Just smart, driven people who lift each other up and make things happen. And whatever happens, it sure won't be boring.

Welcome to air up.

Our sales team is dedicated to driving sales with both existing and new customers in the offline retail channel. You will be part of a collaborative team and driven colleagues committed to expanding our presence in the offline retail channel. As a (Senior) Key Account Manager UK, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and nurturing relationships with our major retail partners, while also leading the acquisition of new accounts in line with our strategic ambitions. We are seeking someone with a growth mindset, who is resilient, thrives in an international environment, and enjoys collaborating with ambitious, driven colleagues.

Location: Germany e.g. Munich HQ air up

In this role, we follow a hybrid working model, and being based in Germany is a requirement. If you're relocating — for example from the UK — we'll support you with an attractive relocation package. The role requires a balance between in-person presence for team connection at our Munich headquarters, on-site customer meetings in the UK, and remote days for focused, independent work.

Your responsibilities

  • Account Ownership: Take full ownership of the performance of our UK accounts, ensuring that financial targets for sales, revenue, and margin are achieved.
  • Customer Strategy: Develop and implement tailored & holistic joint-business plans - fully aligned with company objectives.
  • Account Management: Build, nurture, and expand long-term relationships with major UK retailers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and sustainable growth.
  • New business development: Gain and successfully onboard new strategic retail partners in line with our UK growth strategy.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Trade Marketing) to deliver seamless execution.
  • Market Insight & Strategy: Provide actionable insights on UK consumer and retail trends to help shape commercial strategies and inform future planning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiencies and improvements across processes and ensure excellence in forecasting, promo reviews and performance reporting.
  • Teamwork: Work alongside a high-performing team, sharing best practices, and striving for collective success.

That's you

  • You have proven experience in Key Account Management of major UK retail accounts (grocers) within the FMCG/CPG sector. Experience in the beverage category is a plus.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of the UK offline retail landscape.
  • You possess excellent negotiation and communication skills with a results-oriented, commercial mindset.
  • You take a strategic and entrepreneurial approach, capable of driving initiatives across functions.
  • You have strong analytical and presentation skills and are proficient in using data to inform decisions and deliver compelling insights.
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are an advantage.
  • You have a valid driver’s license (B) and are willing to travel regularly to the UK.
The benefits listed below are intended for full-time employees. For other employment types, including working students and minijobbers, benefits may differ based on the terms of their contract and applicable regulations.
