Job Description

We’re ALTEN Technology USA, an engineering company helping clients bring groundbreaking ideas to life—from advancing space exploration and life-saving medical devices to building autonomous electric vehicles. With 3,000+ experts across North America, we partner with leading companies in aerospace, medical devices, robotics, automotive, commercial vehicles, EVs, rail, and more.

As part of the global ALTEN Group—57,000+ engineers in 30 countries—we deliver across the entire product development cycle, from consulting to full project outsourcing.

When you join ALTEN Technology USA, you’ll collaborate on some of the world’s toughest engineering challenges, supported by mentorship, career growth opportunities, and comprehensive benefits. We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.

As a Production Operations Specialist you will be responsible for;

  • KPI Implementation & Framework Design: Support and evaluate supplier’s KPI plan definition. Implement KPI plan to measure line efficiency, quality, and output.
  • Real-Time Monitoring & Floor Control: Maintain a permanent physical presence on the production floor to monitor processes, ensuring the production line adheres to agreed-upon operational and quality standards (a.o. ISO9001).
  • Deviation Management & Rapid Action: Identify real-time production bottlenecks or quality deviations and immediately drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with the local plant/supplier and Airbus NL teams.
  • Integrated Program & MES Support: Collaborate directly with and support the current Program Manager in driving overall project coordination, maintaining a master overview of parallel development and production activities and tracking cross-functional interdependencies; and act as the operational bridge during the site’s transition to the MES (Manufacturing Execution System), ensuring shop-floor data collection aligns with the new digital framework.
  • Transparent Reporting: Create and maintain daily/weekly operational dashboards, in support to Airbus NL’s supplier, to report performance metrics, deviations, and remediation status directly to Airbus NL management.

Qualifications;

  • 5+ years in Manufacturing Operations, Production Management, or Quality Engineering within high-volume or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong familiarity with MES implementations, shop-floor data automation, and digital tracking. BSc/MSc in Engineering. Experience within aerospace sector and electronics is a plus.
  • Skills: Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, root-cause analysis and PPS (e.g., 5 Whys, 8D), and KPI dashboard design.
  • Soft Skills: Strong assertiveness and stakeholder management skills; ability to comfortably navigate and drive accountability within a third-party supplier's facility

Salary Range: $90k-$110k
