Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and reliability of production equipment, facility systems, and manufacturing operations within our satellite production facility in Midland, TX. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, repair equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

This is a 2nd Shift role: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m.–4:00 a.m. (4x10 schedule) with a 10% shift differential, paid lunch, and paid breaks.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative & Predictive Maintenance

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, machinery, and support equipment
• Inspect equipment and systems to identify wear, potential failures, and reliability concerns
• Document maintenance activities using maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Assist in developing and improving preventative maintenance programs

Troubleshooting & Repair

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems
• Diagnose equipment failures using schematics, technical manuals, drawings, and diagnostic tools
• Repair or replace motors, sensors, relays, switches, pumps, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, valves, and related equipment
• Utilize multimeters, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify root causes and restore functionality

Manufacturing & Production Support

• Support production operations by responding to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability

Ideal Candidate

You possess strong mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting skills, and preventative maintenance experience. Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, military maintenance, aerospace, electronics, reliability engineering, or industrial operations is highly preferred. You work safely and effectively in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: Up to $42/hour based on experience, with overtime opportunities
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m.–4:00 a.m., 4x10 schedule) with 10% shift differential

The range of $80,000–$130,000 USD annually shown in our system is an editorial market estimate based on industry standards for this role and location.
