About This Role
Cribl is seeking a talented Commercial Sales Engineer based in the Eastern United States to join our rapidly growing, remote-first team. As the data engine for IT and Security, Cribl powers solutions for some of the world's most demanding organizations. In this role, you'll combine technical expertise with consultative selling to help enterprise customers unlock the full potential of Cribl's platform in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Help customers understand the value proposition of Cribl during the sales discovery and evaluation process
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and answer technical questions during sales calls
- Support customers through proof-of-concept phases, including technical workshops, POVs, and implementation planning
- Document interesting use cases and customer success stories in blog posts and technical content
- Occasionally perform duties outside standard working hours to accommodate customers and team members across multiple time zones
- Work collaboratively with account executives and customer success teams to accelerate deal closure and customer outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Sales Engineering experience in enterprise or mid-market software sales environments
- Demonstrated expertise with logs, metrics, IT operations, and security technologies
- Strong technical communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for business and technical audiences
- Residency in the Eastern region of the United States (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in the security industry or with security tools and platforms
- Background with observability, monitoring, or data pipeline solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services

💰 Compensation: $110K–$155K USD annually, based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications. This position includes a performance-based bonus tied to regional results and a comprehensive benefits package.
