Job Description
About Jahnel Group
Jahnel Group is an INC 5000 recognized software consultancy dedicated to building complex, compelling applications for clients nationwide. We're a fast-growing team of 100+ employees committed to providing an excellent environment where software creators can pursue meaningful work.
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Lead Business Systems Analyst to lead business analysis across a portfolio of Salesforce initiatives. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing position where you'll partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, internal application teams, implementation partners, and technical delivery teams to drive successful Salesforce implementations.
The ideal candidate brings strong Salesforce expertise and strategic thinking—going beyond requirements gathering to ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions, evaluate solution options, and identify opportunities to simplify and improve business processes. You'll ensure Salesforce solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across multiple Salesforce projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder alignment meetings
- Document current-state and future-state business processes
- Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and requirements traceability
- Challenge existing processes to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate
- Evaluate solution options, balancing business value, technical complexity, scalability, and supportability
- Promote a configuration-first approach by leveraging standard Salesforce capabilities before recommending custom development
- Assess business impact, operational benefits, and total cost of ownership of proposed solutions
- Support Salesforce implementations across discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization phases
- Validate solution designs using Salesforce declarative capabilities including Flow, reports, dashboards, page layouts, and security controls
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and deployment readiness activities
- Maintain requirements, process documentation, and solution artifacts throughout the project lifecycle
Ideal Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ideally with multiple Salesforce implementations
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce declarative features and configuration
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to think strategically about process improvement and business value
- Experience with requirements documentation, process modeling, and business analysis methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
