Job Description

Revolution Medicines is a global, commercial-state oncology company dedicated to discovering, developing and delivering innovative medicines for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. Leveraging its differentiated RAS(ON) tri-complex inhibitor platform, the company is advancing a broad, integrated portfolio of oral RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to directly target the active, cancer-driving state of RAS. Founded on rigorous scientific inquiry and a willingness to challenge long-held assumptions, Revolution Medicines is committed to changing the trajectory of disease for patients with RAS-addicted cancers worldwide.

Our people are united by a shared way of working: follow the science, challenge assumptions, act with urgency and hold ourselves to a high standard of rigor—all in service of patients.

The Opportunity:

Revolution Medicines is seeking a highly motivated and scientifically driven field based and customer facing Associate Director Medical Advisor to be part of jump-starting Medical Affairs activities in Nordic Countries. This role will report to the Medical Director Nordics. This position will be instrumental in driving scientific excellence, clinical insight, and medical strategy supporting our oncology pipeline and marketed products. The Associate Director Medical Advisor will be ensuring scientific integrity and alignment with global and European medical affairs and clinical objectives. The position will require close collaboration with cross-functional partners including clinical development, clinical operations, regulatory, commercial, HEOR, market access, and other field medical teams across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-Develop and implement an early pre-launch Nordics Medical Affairs strategy and tactical plan for assigned products and therapeutic areas.

  • Establish and maintain trusted scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, and healthcare professionals across the Nordics.

  • Provide medical oversight and scientific input to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with other Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Affairs, and clinical research departments to support scientific exchange, education, and data dissemination activities across the Nordics region.

  • Contribute to medical input in promotional and non-promotional materials, internal training, and advisory boards.

  • Plan and execute national medical meetings, symposia, and congress participation to enhance scientific visibility.

  • Support investigator-initiated trials and local clinical research activities in collaboration with global and regional teams.

  • Monitor the competitive and scientific landscape to inform internal strategy and provide actionable medical insights.

  • Partner with HEOR and market access to develop real-world evidence and outcomes research projects.

  • Ensure compliance with Nordic countries and EU regulatory frameworks governing interactions with healthcare professionals.

  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Operations and CROs, including site selection, Site Initiation Visits, and investigator engagement.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) required; oncology experience strongly preferred.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or related functions in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

  • Strong understanding of oncology clinical development, evidence generation, and treatment landscape.

  • Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data.

  • Experience engaging with healthcare professionals, academic researchers, and medical societies.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

  • Fluency in one or more Nordic languages and English (written and spoken).

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.

  • Willingness to travel within the Nordics and internationally (up to 30%).

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in oncology product launches.

  • Strong network within the Nordics oncology community.

  • Experience in investigator-initiated or real-world evidence studies.

  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, reimbursement structures, and compliance requirements in the Nordic countries.

  • Track record in publication planning, congress presentations, and scientific communications.
