About This Role

You'll be an embedded data scientist working alongside product managers, software engineers, and designers in our mission-aligned team (MAT) model. This structure enables deep expertise in specific business problems and verticals, allowing rapid growth into subject matter expert status. You'll own end-to-end analyses, from conception through productionization, with genuine ownership and measurable impact.

About the Analytics & Data Science Team

Data-driven decision-making is core to Super.com's culture. Our team demonstrates technical maturity with established practices using Snowflake, dbt, and Amplitude. We launch new experiments daily and value high-quality data work. This is not an early-stage data function—we're scaling proven capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of statistical and machine learning solutions driving high-impact, data-driven decisions across the business
• Own complex, ambiguous problems end-to-end: framing questions, deploying solutions, and monitoring production performance
• Investigate trends, patterns, and anomalies at depth; diagnose root causes and surface strategic opportunities
• Architect data pipelines to access, clean, and transform large datasets; establish reusable patterns for team adoption
• Design, implement, and monitor business rules for cash flow underwriting and repayment workflows
• Partner with product, engineering, and business leadership to translate strategic priorities into data science roadmaps and influence leadership-level decisions
• Identify high-leverage problems and proactively drive solutions

What You'll Need

This role requires strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning implementation, and production data engineering. You should excel at translating ambiguous business problems into analytical frameworks, communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders, and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Salary Disclosure: The salary range of $125,000–$180,000 USD annually is an editorial market estimate based on industry benchmarks and role seniority, not an employer-provided figure. Actual compensation varies by experience, location, qualifications, and market conditions.
