About the Role
Join 8am's fast-paced Sales Team as a Business Development Representative. You'll support our suite of products serving legal, accounting, and client-focused professionals. This role is a strong foundation for a long-term career in technology sales, with guaranteed investment in your success and clear pathways for growth within 8am.
What You'll Do
- Conduct outbound telephone-based prospecting for 8am products, developing expertise in legal practice management software
- Identify and prioritize sales opportunities through direct prospecting and lead follow-up
- Maintain 75–100 calls per day to qualify leads and build pipeline from cold or inactive accounts
- Build relationships with targeted prospect lists to develop new sales opportunities
- Update and maintain the Sales database, including data discovery tied to company initiatives
- Execute concentrated marketing campaigns and forward-thinking customer outreach
- Document all sales activity in Salesforce and meet daily key performance indicators
- Report weekly on qualitative and quantitative results
- Expand knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape
About You
- Experience selling technology and/or software
- Ability to learn and articulate complex subject matter quickly
- Strong listening, investigation, and research skills
- Natural storyteller with curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo
- Excellent written communication, phone, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong time management and ability to work in fast-paced environments
