Tech Lead, Video Conferencing & Screen Sharing

About the Role

Lead a four-person engineering team owning the complete video conferencing and screen sharing experience across the Airtame platform. You'll spend approximately 60% of your time hands-on with technical problems—architecture decisions, code reviews, and complex engineering challenges—and 40% growing your engineers through 1:1s, hiring, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full platform stack: Technical direction for Airtame 3, Airtame Go, Virtual Airtame, and browser, desktop, and mobile applications
• Simplify joining calls: Make authenticated meeting starts seamless across Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Webex with first-try reliability
• Streamline screen sharing: Reduce friction in browser-based sharing and stabilize Miracast and AirPlay for default-on reliability
• Unify the experience: Ensure consistent sharing and calling behaviour across all surfaces with real-time quality on variable networks
• Advance AI-assisted development: Lead the team's adoption of AI tools, workflows, and patterns to increase engineering velocity
• Lead the team: Set technical standards, conduct 1:1s, support growth, and hire for sustained team performance
