Job Description
About Aphex
Aphex transforms how engineers, superintendents, and site managers plan, communicate, and track work on construction projects. Since launching in the UK in 2019, we've become the dominant platform for infrastructure and major construction projects across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. We're now expanding into North America—this is a founding role joining our London team as we launch our Toronto office with proven product-market fit and existing major infrastructure clients.
The Role
You've spent years on construction sites and know the frustration when Monday planning meetings fall apart, schedules are outdated, and visibility into next week is impossible. We need someone who's lived that reality to help our biggest accounts succeed with Aphex and grow with us internationally.
As Account Manager, you'll focus first on helping projects succeed, which naturally drives enterprise growth and expansion. You'll be a founding member of our North America team, working alongside UK colleagues relocating to Toronto. We've refined our playbooks in three markets to ensure you can transition smoothly with the support and structure needed to excel.
What You'll Do
- Drive adoption on live projects by understanding how teams plan and helping them work better with Aphex
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders—Heads of Planning, Operations Directors, Digital Leads—who decide if Aphex becomes the standard
- Identify and create expansion opportunities: new divisions, project types, and products like Aphex Diary
- Work with and lead customer success managers to deliver effective onboarding and activation
- Help customers build consistent operating processes so Aphex becomes how they work, not another tool
- Hit quarterly and annual expansion targets
- Help shape the North America playbook as one of the first hires on the ground
Who You Are
- 5+ years on-site experience as a Superintendent, Site Supervisor, or Project Manager—you know how projects actually run
- Ready for a change: you want to work with technology, not against it, leveraging everything you've learned in construction
- Comfortable presenting to Site Managers, Heads of Planning, and Operations Directors because you've worked alongside them
- You take ownership and don't wait to be told what's next
- Excited about building a new market and office from the early days
What We Offer
- Real career upgrade—you're not leaving construction, you're advancing your role in it
- Higher earning potential with base plus variable compensation rewarding strong performance
- Founding seat on North America team with genuine progression as the office scales
- High-performing team culture with genuine development focus
- Constant training, coaching, and learning opportunities
- One annual all-expenses-paid international team offsite
- $1,000 annual training allowance and access to Emerging Leaders program
- MindFi EAP access and Employee Referral Program
Salary Note: This is an editorial market estimate of $80K–$130K USD annually, based on role level and market data. Actual compensation varies by experience, location, and performance structure. This figure is not employer-provided.
