Ajax captures everything a lawyer works on and transforms it into polished time entries, helping firms recover missing revenue while improving the worst part of a lawyer's day by 90%.

The company is scaling rapidly: it took one year to reach $1M ARR, the next million took just 3 months, and Ajax is now closing in on $4M ARR with hundreds of law firms on board. Customers are so satisfied that 14 have angel-invested their own money, the company wins 97% of pilots, and has won every competitive pilot ever run.

The Role

You'll be employee #1 in marketing at a company whose customers already drive half the marketing. Your job is to build the machine that compounds organic growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and scale high-performing channels: referrals (40% of new deals), conferences (seven figures of pipeline generated this spring), word of mouth, and affiliate partnerships—currently managed ad-hoc or not at all
• Manage existing paid, SEO/AEO, and LinkedIn organic campaigns run by agencies
• Analyze channel performance, identify what's working, and allocate budget and resources strategically
• Explore emerging channels: paid GPT, influencer marketing, and other growth vectors
• Drive measurable results across the full funnel

Why this role matters: Ajax's best-converting, fastest-payback deals come from referrals, conferences, and word of mouth—none currently have dedicated ownership. Demos from the website have tripled since January without full-time focus. There's enormous untapped potential across all channels.

Location & Culture

Monday–Friday in NYC HQ (in-person collaboration preferred) plus occasional travel to conferences where lawyers gather. This is a hands-on founding role at a company moving fast.
